City Palace – A Royal Heritage
The city palace is one of the oldest palaces in udaipur which is situated on the the east bank of the lake pichola
The palace showcases a series of ancient halls, gateways, courtyards terraces, overlapping
partitions, gardens and corridors. The location of this palace makes it one of the most
extraordinaordinary places to visit because monuments like the jag mandir, lake palace jagdish temple and monsoon palace are all in close vicinity of the palace complex.
The city palace has also been used for shooting iconic movies like Ram-leela etc, also many royal weddings take place at the palace.
The palace complex consists of four major and several minor palaces that in a combined
manner form the magnificient city palace. The muesum in the palace showcases the now
preserved artifacts, which also constitutes the main part of the palace.
Visiting hour – 9:30AM to 5:30PM daily.
Entry Fees: Around 300-400 rupees for Indian Adults, 100 Rupees for children (5-18 years)
Camera Fees: Around 250 rupees
