1559 AD is a premium restaurant in Udaipur, inspired by the city’s founding year and old-world Rajasthani hospitality. Established in 2009, it aims to offer a “total experience” through its ambiance, architecture, and mouth-watering cuisine. The success led to the opening of Upre in Udaipur and Bijolai in Jodhpur. All restaurants are personally overseen by proprietor Mr. Arjun Shaktawat, Les Roches alumnus with global hospitality experience, who also designs the interiors and landscapes, ensuring a unique and memorable dining experience for every guest.
