Moti Magri, sometimes referred to as Pearl Hill, is a very ancient hilltop monument situated in the vicinity of Fateh Sagar Lake in Udaipur. It is a
memorial to the great Ruler of Mewar, Maharana Pratap, and is considered the place where he supposedly spoke to his army. The hill is very
significant because the Maharana Pratap’s memory is associated with the qualities of valor and defiance to the Mughal empire.
The main feature of Moti Magri is the immense statue of Maharana Pratap on the back of his faithful horse Chetak, which is placed in the direction
of Fateh Sagar Lake. The tourists come to Moti Magri not only to get acquainted with the story of valor and the legacy of Maharana Pratap but
also to take delight in the splendid views of the lake and city, to feel a very strong sense of history and to feel pride in the association of Rahman with Udaipur and Mewar.
