Sachkund gurudwara
The Sachkhand Gurudwara located in Udaipur is a vastly significant Sikh place of worship established to honour Sri Guru Gobind
Singh Ji the tenth Sikh Guru. As per Sikh lore, Guru Gobind Singh Ji went to this area during his travels in the early 18th century and the
place is linked to his presence and good fortune. Later on, a Sikh sangat (community) built the gurudwara to mark this holy connection.
The gurudwara is a representation of seva (service), equality, and love for God, the main principles of Sikhism, and it very frequently conducts
prayer, kirtan, and langar. At all times, people resort to Sachkhand Gurudwara for spiritual peace, to recall the lessons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji,
and to enjoy the quiet and friendly atmosphere. The place is also a delight for tourists who would like to know about the Sikh history in Mewar
and to see a wonderful instance of unity among different communities in Udaipur.
