Doodh Talai
Doodh Talai is a historic garden and small lake area in Udaipur close to the City Palace and Lake Pichola. It was a viewpoint and the resting
place of the Mewar royals, who enjoyed seeing the surrounding lakes and palaces. The word “Doodh Talai” is said to come from either the
white milk-like color of the water back then or a local legend about the areaโs dairying. At present, Doodh Talai is a place of scenic beauty with
its exquisite gardens, Manikya Lal Verma Garden, and the Karni Mata Temple, which is accessible via ropeway. The spot has become popular among
tourists not only for its stunning views of Lake Pichola, Jag Mandir, and the City Palace but also for the serenity of the walks, the views of the sunsets,
and the peaceful existence of nature, history, and spirituality together. Moreover, Doodh talai also has a music fountain show which can be quite an interesting show
for the tourist. Apart from that, near doodh talai there is a landscaped garden named Luv Kush garden which is has a ropped bridge, many walking and jogging paths and
playing area for kids
