Sajjan Gargh Biological Park
Sajjangarh Biological Park is a state-of-the-art wildlife park situated close to the Monsoon Palace (Sajjangarh Palace) in Udaipur.
It was built as part of the plan to protect and conserve the animal species after the old Gulab Bagh Zoo was closed down for similar reasons.
The aim was to give the wildlife a more congenial and less restricted living environment.
The park spreads over a vast area of the Aravalli hills that is fully covered with forests and has animals like lions, tigers, leopards, bears, deer, and many varieties of birds as its residents. The visitors flock to Sajjangarh Biological Park not only to see the wildlife but also to take eco-friendly safaris, and they can do so while at the same time enjoying nature, conservation, and sightseeing thus it becomesa perfect hub for families and nature lovers to visit Udaipur.
