The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has officially commenced ticket bookings for Rajasthan’s much-awaited Udaipur–Asarva Vande Bharat Express. This new semi-high-speed train will operate between Udaipur City and Asarva station near Ahmedabad, Gujarat, offering passengers a faster and more comfortable travel option.

Operated and maintained by the North Western Railway (NWR) zone, the introduction of this premium train service is expected to reduce the travel time between Udaipur and Ahmedabad by approximately one hour, making intercity connectivity smoother and more efficient.

Stoppages and Coach Composition

Train numbers 26963/26964 will halt at three key stations during the journey:

• Zawar
• Dungarpur
• Himmatnagar

The train will consist of 8 coaches, including:

• 7 AC Chair Car (CC) coaches
• 1 Executive AC Chair Car (EC) coach

Passengers can expect modern amenities, comfortable seating, and enhanced onboard services, which are the hallmark of the Vande Bharat trains across India.

Ticket Fare Details

The ticket prices for the Udaipur–Asarva route are as follows:

From Udaipur to Asarva:

• AC Chair Car (CC): ₹900
• Executive Chair Car (EC): ₹1690

From Asarva to Udaipur:

• AC Chair Car (CC): ₹1065
• Executive Chair Car (EC): ₹1875

The slightly higher fare on the return journey is due to the inclusion of dinner service in the Executive Class (EC) category.
