This scenic garden is situated near the palace on the east side of the lake pichhola. It was built
by the Maharaja sajjan singh of udaipur. The garden consists of lush roses thats where the name came from, also it
houses many other medicinal plants .
Apart from that, the garden has a library, named as the saraswati bhawan library, it was earlier known
as the victoria museum. It houses more than 32000 books that date back to the early medieval period, related to archaelogy,
history and several manuscripts. Gulab bagh also has a toy train that wanders within the zoo, for kids as well as adults.
This garden is huge in area as it covers 100 acres of land and is widely renowed as one of the most mangificient and largest
garden in rajasthan.
