Monsoon Palace/Sajjan Garh
Monsoon Palace, or Sajjangarh Palace, is the majestic palace situated on a hill that Mewar’s Maharana Sajjan Singh which was built in 1884.
He originally envisaged it as an astronomical center, but later it was turned into a monsoon retreat for the royal family, providing them with a
cooling and peaceful escape during the rainy season. The palace, which was perched on the top of the Aravalli hills, was also a watchtower
that spotted the coming monsoon clouds and safeguarded the area. Now, visitors flock to Monsoon Palace to enjoy its stunning views over
the city of Udaipur, the nearby lakes, and the sunsets besides the silent atmosphere and royal style that make it one of the finest vantage points in Udaipur.

entry fees: 50 to 100 rupees for Indians and rupees 300 for foreigner
