Fateh Sagar
Fateh Sagar Lake is one of the loveliest and most recognizable lakes in Udaipur, built in the 17th century and later reconstructed by Maharana Fateh
Singh in the late 19th century. As an important reservoir, it was installed to lithe the water supply and to defend the city from flooding, being the Mewar
era’s architecture and engineering promise. The lake, lying against the picturesque Aravalli hills, is a place where one can relish the vast blue waters,
enjoy the cool breeze, and savor the calmness of nature. There are three islands in the lake; one of them is Nehru Park which is a popular spot for picnics
and leisure. Tourists are attracted to Fateh Sagar for boating, cycling, and taking evening strolls along the lake but mostly for watching the sunsets
which are divine, thus it is a not-to-be-missed place where one can have fun and see the nature of Udaipur
